Project Title Launch The School Of Social Justice To Train The Next Generation Of Martin Luther Kings
Project Synopsis

What is the challenge or opportunity you are trying to address within your organization?

Launch online education platform to teach people how to address the major problems society faces, including racism, sexism, human rights abuses, poverty, inequality, health inequities, and environmental damage. <br /> Activities include: 1. Production: Creation of video content that can teach people the skills, strategies, tools, and tactics to practically change the world. 2. Distribution: Sharing content online across multiple communication challenges, including email, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Spotify, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook. 3. Growth: Reaching new audiences in the UK and US, mainly between 18-35 years old, through creative organic methods. 4. Business Development: Building partnerships with brands and organisations. 5. Patrons: Securing 2,000 patrons to enable the school to be financially sustainable. 6. Fundraise £150k from foundations and trust and HNWIs. 7. Curricula development: Plan inaugural pilot online course to be taught in Q1 2023. <br /> Success: - NYU APA students learn a lot of life-lasting lessons - NYU APA students enjoy the experience, and want to continue contributing to efforts related to education and social justice - SSJ teaches a larger number of people worldwide how to change the world Metrics: 1. Number of patrons / % increase 2. Amount raised for fundraiser 3. Impressions / % increase 4. Engagement / % increase 5. Number of registrations for pilot course
