| About Students |
MUP Capstone projects address complex urban issues ranging from transportation to environment, crime to education, affordable housing to accessibility, and invite students to design more livable and sustainable cities. The study of urban planning at NYU Wagner is done in the context of these interrelated issues, within a school of public service. Capstone projects will give our students the chance to grapple with real-world social, cultural, and economic issues within urban realities. Projects will invite our students to employ their skills and insights and draw from their multidisciplinary courses in finance, policy, and management to address a challenge presented by your organization. Student Level: Graduate Degree Student Time Commitment: Full Time Team Structure: 3 - 5 |

These challenges could range from transportation planning to affordable housing initiatives. The program equips students with the practical skills and knowledge necessary to develop innovative solutions, conduct comprehensive research, and deliver impactful recommendations. By partnering with organizations, students gain hands-on experience and contribute to the development of sustainable and inclusive urban environments. |
