About Students

Students in the Management & Leadership Capstone at NYU Wagner are graduate students pursuing their Master of Public Administration in Public and Nonprofit Management & Policy with a specialization in Management & Leadership

These students are developing the strategic, operational, and leadership skills required to guide mission-driven organizations through complex organizational challenges. Many bring professional experience from nonprofits, government agencies, foundations, consulting firms, and social enterprises.

Through coursework in organizational management, leadership, financial stewardship, operations, and strategic planning, students learn how to lead teams, strengthen institutions, and drive results in organizations serving the public good.

They are trained to analyze organizational performance, improve internal systems, manage change, and align strategy with mission. These students are collaborative, analytical, and solutions-oriented professionals who are eager to partner with organizations seeking to strengthen their leadership practices, operational effectiveness, and long-term sustainability.
