Project Synopsis: Challenge/Opportunity
The Foundation is undertaking a strategic shift in grant making that is based on venture philanthropy. It’s our goal to make high-engagement, long-term investments in local literacy nonprofit organizations / projects that will result in significant, measurable social impact.
Project Synopsis: Activities/Actions Required
  • Conduct research: Gather information about the causes we want to support, the existing organizations working in those areas, and the strategies that have proven successful. 
  • Develop a due diligence process: Design a rigorous due diligence process to evaluate potential recipients of our philanthropic investments.
  • Monitor and evaluate impact: Establish mechanisms to track the progress and impact of our investments. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the initiatives we support. 
  • Identify potential partnerships and networks with other philanthropic organizations, NGOs, and stakeholders working in our chosen verticals.
Project Synopsis: Expected Results
This project would be success for our organization if students are able to provide recommendations based on reach to the action items listed above.
