About Strafford Regional Planning Commission

Established in 1971, the Strafford Regional Planning Commission (SRPC) serves 18 municipalities in New Hampshire, including all 13 in Strafford County, three in Rockingham County, and two in Carroll County. SRPC's mission is to ensure that the region is responsive to the needs of its residents through cooperation with federal and state agencies and member municipalities, implementing regional plans, and providing local planning assistance. These actions foster sustainable development and improve the quality of life in the region. SRPC offers services in transportation, land use, economic development, hazard mitigation, water, public health, and natural resource planning, as well as geographic information systems (GIS) services, data collection and analysis, facilitation, and project management.
