ACLAMO

ACLAMO is a nonprofit community service organization that provides educational programs, social services, and access to health and wellness programs to Latinos and other community members to empower them to fully achieve their life potential. Our vision is for every family, every child, and every adult to reach their full potential, independence, and happiness.

To fulfill our mission, ACLAMO coordinates with a well-developed network of local partners, and on working collaborations with a wide range of mainstream providers to bring visibility of the Latino community to the table. By offering a full range of critical bilingual, bicultural services to address gaps in access to vital resources in the community, we are able to build a stronger community one child and one family at a time.

About ACLAMO

ACLAMO empowers low-income Latinos and community members in Southeastern Pennsylvania through education, health and wellness, and social services. Our programs foster academic success, access to healthcare, and community integration which create paths towards self-sufficiency.
As a community service organization we provide low-income Latinos and other disadvantaged residents with access to resources and programs. Our community faces many obstacles to success and often have limited English proficiency and are of migrant status. As an organization, ACLAMO provides a wide variety of essential bilingual and bicultural services to fill gaps in access to community resources and support our community to live their full potential. Obstacles are addressed through a holistic modality that seeks to focus on three main areas that are imperative to the community; education, health and wellness and social services.
ACLAMO has played a vital role in empowering our community to navigate the existing landscape of opportunities. Through our educational programs we provide academic support and college preparation, equipping students with the tools to succeed. ACLAMO ensures access to healthcare, fostering well-being and resilience through health and wellness services and benefits support. Additionally, our social services department assists those at risk of homelessness, survivors of domestic abuse, seniors and others. Our immigration and legal support team helps individuals overcome barriers promoting stability and self-sufficiency.
As an organization, we have confidence that our approach and delivery of services is what works best for our community. For 45 years we have been an important connector in Montgomery County's human services network, regularly engaging the community of practice through ongoing professional development and have been at the forefront in determining the best practices for how to address issues and work with the Latino community in our region. .
Our track record is proven by our impact and the trust we have in the community, and our reputation both in the non-profit and government ecosystem as well as the community at large. The county has repeatedly looked to us to fulfil contracts, knowing we are capable and highly effective. Over the past fiscal year, we were able to serve 37,112 individuals and families through all our program offerings.
