The ABC Club.org has been created by several members of Learning through an Expanded Arts Program, Inc. (LEAP)’s Active Learning Leads to Literacy program, which was administered in over 200 New York City public and charter schools and found in longitudinal and qualitative studies to have academic gains of 87%. The program is designed to be highly interactive, meeting students at their level, offering reinforcement for crucial literacy skills through a looping system, and providing independent advancement for students who have mastered literacy skills.
