| Project Synopsis: Challenge/Opportunity | USI works across 5 pillars of service: housing stability, economic mobility, education, health and wellness, and policy and influence in communities across the country. Most of these communities are going through some form of revitalization. The majority of the staff at USI work directly with families in these communities. We are working to ensure that all children and families are stable and thriving. Specifically, within our policy and influence pillar we are working on policy and systems change collaborations that reduce racial disparities particularly in the area of economic mobility. This project would focus on research of key areas to support us in the development of our policy change agenda.
